About Us
Meet the Founder
Ryan Oosthuizen
Ryan Oosthuizen began his professional journey as a self-employed courier, successfully running two bakkies and a truck over a period of five years. He later transitioned into Project Management within the telecommunications industry, where he developed strong organisational, leadership, and training skills.
During this time, Ryan obtained his motorcycle licence — what started as a passion quickly became a calling.
In 2012, he began teaching complete novices how to ride, with a strong focus on preparing students for the K53 motorcycle licence test. What initially started as a full-time venture later continued on a part-time basis for nearly 14 years, helping countless new riders build confidence and skill.
In 2026, BumbleBeez MotorBike Academy was officially born.
Ryan's mission is simple: to guide newcomers into motorcycling with patience, structure, and purpose. His focus is not just on passing the K53 test, but on developing safe, mindful, and confident riders who truly understand their motorcycles.
